Junior Breeding Consultant – Heavy Logistics

About the role

RENECO is seeking a Junior Breeding Consultant – Heavy Logistics to join its Breeding Team at the Sweihan centre in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the Breeding Department by managing and improving heavy‑logistics operations and breeding infrastructure across RENECO’s conservation sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cages, tunnels and other breeding infrastructure.
• Manage cage and tunnel inventory, optimizing storage and resource use.
• Train and support Heavy Logistics teams on technical and operational best practices.
• Contribute to budget planning and ensure efficient use of equipment and materials.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation and monitoring records.
• Drive continuous improvement of operational efficiency, infrastructure and workflow.
• Support innovation projects, tunnel greening initiatives and pest‑control activities.
• Standardise cage and tunnel designs across breeding centres.
• Promote and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering (preferably with Business Management and Agricultural Techniques) or BTSA in Animal Production or related field.
• Experience in technical operations, construction, infrastructure support or heavy logistics.
• Knowledge of construction methods, equipment and Health & Safety standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Experience in inventory management and technical documentation.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
