Junior Project Control Engineer

About the role

This junior position in the Project Management department plans, monitors and controls project activities so that projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with the approved scope, schedule and quality requirements. It supports project teams through progress tracking, reporting and early identification of delays or risks. The role is full-time and open to candidates with 0-3 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring project cost, schedule and progress to keep activities on track.
• Support the preparation and updating of project schedules, cost estimates, forecasts and progress reports.
• Collect, organize and analyze project data to spot delays, cost variances and potential risks.
• Support the project change control process, tracking changes and their impact on cost and schedule.
• Help prepare corrective actions and recovery plans for project delays or cost issues.
• Maintain accurate project control records and support meetings, reporting, lessons learned and close-out activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with project teams and support management with clear, accurate information.
• Willingness to learn project control and reporting skills.
