Junior Sommelier

About the role

Join La Petite Maison’s new beachfront restaurant in Dubai and start your career in wine service. As a Junior Sommelier you will work alongside an experienced sommelier team, supporting the wine program and learning the extensive wine list and its producers.

Key responsibilities

• Support wine service on the restaurant floor.
• Assist guests with wine recommendations and food pairings.
• Maintain cellar organization, stock levels and inventory.
• Provide backup to the sommelier team during service periods.
• Study the wine list and understand the stories behind each producer.
• Participate in tastings and wine‑focused events.

Required profile

• Some experience in wine service or a strong personal interest in wine.
• Holding a wine certification, preferably WSET.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and develop professionally.
• Organised, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
