Korean Chef

About the role

Mukbang Shows Restaurant, a Korean BBQ and seafood destination with three locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, is hiring a full-time, on-site Korean Chef in Dubai. The chef prepares a wide range of traditional and contemporary Korean dishes, including BBQ items, seafood boil, appetizers and specialty menu items, while keeping taste, quality and presentation consistent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations and oversee food preparation and grilling stations
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to deliver smooth, timely service
• Contribute to menu refinement, portion control and inventory use
• Train and guide kitchen staff on Korean cooking techniques

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Korean chef or cook in a professional restaurant setting
• Experience with high-volume kitchen operations, including station management and coordination during peak service
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and halal food handling standards
• Ability to train, guide and collaborate with kitchen team members
• Basic English communication skills; flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays
• Formal culinary education or certification is an advantage
