About the role
The UAE National Laboratory Technician supports laboratory operations for academic practical sessions, ensuring equipment readiness, safety compliance, and accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.
- Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain and coordinate servicing of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection‑control regulations.
- Assist faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions.
- Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.
- Perform quality‑control checks and report equipment malfunctions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and teamwork abilities.
