Laundry Supervisor

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of its laundry department. The role covers washing, drying, ironing and distribution, ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality, and manages a team of attendants while supporting guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate laundry attendants and oversee the full laundry process, from sorting to folding
• Monitor laundry equipment and report maintenance issues to engineering
• Check linens, uniforms and guest laundry against quality standards before distribution
• Manage stock of detergents, chemicals and supplies, and coordinate guest laundry, dry cleaning and pressing services
• Implement eco-friendly practices and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and infection control standards
• Train attendants on best practices, machine operation and safety protocols
• Work with housekeeping, uniform and linen departments and keep accurate records of operations

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality or textile management diploma is a plus
• Minimum 2-4 years in a hotel or commercial laundry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills
