Lead Internal Auditor – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Internal Auditor to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will oversee audits of a wide range of operational processes and will travel regularly across the region for on‑site assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audits of operational functions.
• Lead audit teams and coordinate with business units to ensure effective risk coverage.
• Utilise data‑analytic tools to enhance audit efficiency and insight.
• Manage regular international travel to conduct field audits throughout the region.
• Develop audit findings, recommendations and follow‑up action plans.

Required profile

• Strong background in internal audit, preferably outside financial services and the Big 4.
• Operational mindset with the ability to assess non‑financial processes.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE and undertake frequent regional travel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data‑analytic tools used in internal audit (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI).
