Lead Joinery – Furniture Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

The Lead Joinery role oversees CNC routing and carpentry operations to deliver high‑quality furniture components on time. Combining modern CNC technology with traditional woodworking, the position ensures precision, consistency, and safety across the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise CNC operators and carpentry teams to meet daily production targets while maintaining a safe workflow.
• Review CAD/CAM files, oversee CNC programming, setup, execution, and optimise machine performance.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, approve prototypes, and uphold craftsmanship standards.
• Provide training and technical guidance on CNC software, woodworking tools, and assembly methods.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to machinery, tooling, materials, and processes.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to interpret drawings and clarify specifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in woodworking, furniture production, or mechanical technology.
• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and carpentry, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication, team‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
