Lead Mobile Engineer – Crypto Wallets

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer specialized in mobile development to drive the creation of high‑performance crypto wallet applications. You will lead a small team of mobile engineers while actively contributing to React Native code that powers DeFi and digital‑asset features for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cross‑platform mobile apps with React Native, ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience on iOS and Android.
• Provide technical leadership, set architectural direction, enforce coding standards, and mentor a team of mobile engineers.
• Architect core mobile foundations such as state management, navigation, modularization, performance optimisation, and security.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, SDKs, WebSockets, and blockchain services, and contribute to backend components when needed.
• Conduct code reviews, guide best practices, and maintain high‑quality, maintainable codebases.
• Translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt modern mobile tools, frameworks, and development patterns.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mobile development with a strong focus on React Native, React, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams and owning architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Deep understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines, native build processes, and front‑end tooling.
• Hands‑on experience integrating native modules and working with iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) for low‑level functionality.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and distributed system integration.
• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js or similar) and ability to contribute to API or service layers.
