Project Manager – Software Development

About the role

The Project Manager (Software Development) leads planning, governance, and delivery of mobile and web software initiatives executed by an in‑house development team. You will work closely with product, design, and QA teams to ensure digital products are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage end‑to‑end delivery of in‑house software projects across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Develop detailed delivery plans, sprint schedules, milestones, dependencies, and release timelines.
• Track and report progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders transparently.
• Own delivery documentation, including requirements, designs, APIs, and release artefacts.
• Drive Agile and Scrum practices: facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support capacity planning, workload balancing, and delivery forecasting.
• Remove blockers and enable the team to operate at optimal velocity.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into executable plans.
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and QA processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to timelines, resources, technical dependencies, and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing software development projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams (product, design, engineering, QA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on documentation and risk mitigation.
• Ability to balance scope, timeline, and quality to meet business objectives.
