IT Project Management Office (PMO) & ADERP Manager

About the role

The Department is seeking a seasoned manager to lead its IT Project Management Office (PMO) and oversee the Abu Dhabi Government ERP (ADERP) system. Reporting to the Information Technology Executive Director, you will ensure that all IT initiatives are delivered efficiently, align with strategic goals, and comply with governance and risk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor the full lifecycle of all IT‑related projects.
• Implement, optimise, and maintain the ADERP system to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure projects adhere to established governance frameworks, risk‑management processes, and compliance standards.
• Develop and manage project budgets, allocating resources to meet timelines and quality targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT projects, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Drive process improvements and adopt new tools/methodologies to enhance delivery.
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, business cases, and change requests.
• Oversee training initiatives for internal teams on ADERP usage and ensure technical support availability.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
