Lead Planning Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Planning Engineer at ALEC Fitout, you will oversee the planning and scheduling of joinery factory activities, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain planning databases and update task completion in ERP or scheduling tools.
• Develop detailed production schedules in coordination with project managers, design, and procurement teams.
• Analyze project specifications and translate them into manufacturing timelines and milestones.
• Track material availability and work with procurement to avoid stockouts.
• Monitor production progress, adjust schedules to resolve bottlenecks, and coordinate manpower and machine allocation.
• Prepare regular progress reports and performance dashboards for senior management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, preferably in joinery or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
