Learning & Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager to design and deliver impactful learning experiences that elevate people capability, leadership excellence, and service culture across Apparel Group. The role shapes a future‑ready workforce by driving structured learning, leadership development and capability‑building initiatives aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise learning strategy and establish learning academies for frontline, corporate and leadership development, including curriculum architecture and certification pathways.
• Design and maintain capability frameworks and a skills taxonomy to support role clarity, workforce planning and personalized learning pathways.
• Oversee blended learning delivery, lead leadership development programs and ensure content reflects premium service behaviors and brand standards.
• Implement evaluation frameworks, measure learning effectiveness and use analytics to continuously improve programs.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, support talent development initiatives and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on capability gaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant L&D or talent development experience, with at least 7 years in a senior capacity.
• Mandatory experience in the retail sector, preferably fashion, lifestyle or luxury environments.
• Familiarity with digital learning ecosystems, LMS/LXP platforms and modern learning technologies.
• Experience working in the UAE or Middle‑East region and ability to operate in diverse, multi‑national workplaces.
