Legal Manager

About the role

Katrina Factory FZE is seeking an experienced Legal Manager to lead its legal, regulatory and compliance functions across multiple business units, including retail, manufacturing, international trade, franchising and corporate structures. This senior position requires a hands‑on leader who can own existing legal processes, develop a high‑performing in‑house team and act as a strategic partner to senior management in a fast‑paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the in‑house legal team, set legal standards and act as primary legal advisor to senior management.
• Oversee and approve commercial contracts (leases, suppliers, customers, export), manage key risk positions and handle contract escalations.
• Supervise dispute handling, claims, non‑payment, terminations and settlements, advising on risk mitigation.
• Manage trade licences, permits, regulatory compliance, inspections, fines and authority correspondence.
• Provide legal support for consumer complaints, franchise matters and ensure marketing and advertising compliance.
• Oversee corporate governance, filings, resolutions, IP portfolio management and bank financing documentation.
• Control compliance frameworks (KYC, sanctions), manufacturing/export compliance, construction and lease matters, and legal document control.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent legal education (mandatory).
• Fluent English (mandatory) and at least 6 years of in‑house or international legal consulting experience.
• Strong background in commercial, corporate, regulatory and trade law.
• Proven leadership and people‑management experience.
• Ability to work independently in a multi‑entity environment.
• Russian language is an advantage; UAE/GCC experience preferred.
