Lifting Appointed Person

About the role

EnerMech is seeking an experienced Lifting Appointed Person to support deck and lifting operations on client platforms in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing lifts while ensuring safety and compliance with company and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lift plans and procedures, coordinate and control lifts, and supervise contractor riggers.
• Manage client and company-owned loose lifting equipment, maintain databases, and ensure certification and inspection compliance.
• Perform banking/signalman duties, risk assess routine and non‑routine crane operations, and supervise lifts on platforms.
• Ensure all statutory requirements, permits, and safety measures are in place, and halt operations if hazards arise.
• Complete lift reports, risk assessments, logs, and maintain equipment records.

Required profile

• Minimum 32 years of age with at least a 3‑year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years offshore/onshore lifting experience, including 5 years in a similar appointed person role.
• Valid OGUK Medical Certificate, BOSIET, H2S certification, and ADNOC Training Center approval.
• Strong focus on HSE priorities and ability to lead safe lifting practices across locations.
