Lifting Supervisor – Construction Logistics

About the role

Join ALEC Building’s safety‑driven logistics team as a Lifting Supervisor, overseeing all lifting activities on a high‑profile construction project in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that every lift is performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved lift plans and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all lifting operations in line with approved lift plans and Method Statements for Safe Working (MSRAs).
• Inspect, maintain and verify certification of lifting accessories, appliances and equipment.
• Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks and Daily Safety Toolbox Interactions (DSTIs) with crane operators, riggers and plant operators.
• Coordinate with the appointed person to plan and schedule lifting activities.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑use equipment inspections and ensure competency of all personnel.
• Maintain clear lifting zones, signage and exclusion areas, and monitor site access routes.
• Report safety concerns or operational changes immediately and provide post‑lift feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction lifting operations.
• Certified Lift Supervisor – LEEA certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of lift plans, MSRAs and lifting equipment.
• Proven leadership and team‑coordination abilities.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and site logistics.
