Live‑In Nurse for Elderly Care (Female)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced female nurse to live on‑site and provide overnight care for an elderly family member in a private residence in Sharjah. The role focuses on ensuring the resident’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night while allowing the nurse to rest during daytime hours as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor the elderly resident during night hours, responding promptly to any needs.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and other routine nighttime activities.
• Observe and report any changes in health status or wellbeing.
• Administer medication or support medication routines as directed, within the nurse’s scope of practice.
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
• Communicate regularly with family members and follow established care plans.

Required profile

• Female candidate (FM) with a nursing, nursing‑assistant, healthcare‑assistant or caregiver qualification.
• Prior experience in elderly or geriatric care, preferably in a private home setting.
• Experience with overnight or night‑time care is an advantage.
• Good spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
