About the role
The Logistics Coordinator will manage daily logistics operations, ensuring timely transportation and delivery of materials. This role works closely with drivers, transport companies, and internal departments to keep shipments on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Arrange vehicle bookings and liaise with drivers and transport companies.
- Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Prepare and maintain delivery notes, invoices, and logistics documents.
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and accounts departments.
- Track deliveries and resolve transportation or shipment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery schedules.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of relevant logistics experience.
- Experience in the steel trading or construction materials industry is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
