Logistics & PRO Specialist - Armoured Vehicles

About the role

An experienced Logistics & PRO Specialist is sought to manage international shipments of armoured vehicles, import and export documentation, regulatory approvals and company licensing requirements. The role covers coordination of exports to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and import of base vehicles and components.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export of armoured vehicles and import of base vehicles, components and materials, including customs clearance
• Prepare and verify export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and end-user certificates
• Work with clients to obtain required documents and approvals before shipment
• Compare freight quotations, arrange bookings under agreed Incoterms and track shipments, keeping Sales, Production and Finance informed
• Record logistics costs and maintain shipment records in the ERP system
• Apply for, renew and track company approvals and permits for manufacturing and exports, including MOD, SIRA, MOFA attestations and legalisations, and strategic goods and export permits
• Maintain trade licences and registrations in Umm Al Quwain and Ajman, including establishment cards, Chamber of Commerce registrations and customs codes
• Handle document attestation and legalisation for export contracts and tenders, and keep an up-to-date register of licences and permits

Required profile

• UAE resident, preferably based in Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Ajman
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and PRO operations, ideally in armoured vehicle manufacturing, defence or other controlled-goods industries
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
• Valid UAE driving licence
• Strong organisational skills, reliability, discretion and ability to handle confidential information

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with MOD, SIRA and MOFA procedures and export permits for controlled goods
• Good working knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms and UAE customs procedures
• Preferred: established relationships with UAE authorities and freight forwarders, and experience with ERP systems
