Logistics Specialist – 1 Year Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist on a 1‑year contract to manage international movements of assets, products and materials for our projects in Dubai. The role works closely with the Project Supply Lead and Material Workflow Manager to ensure timely and cost‑effective shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate third‑party resources for international shipments and coordinate domestic movements with the GeoUnit Domestic Planning Specialist.
• Optimize equipment utilization, select cost‑effective routings, and use preferred contracted carriers.
• Provide schedule updates, manage operational logistics transactions, and act as the focal point for all international logistics movements.
• Ensure compliance with international transport regulations and company policies.
• Monitor cargo status, perform real‑time tracking, and communicate deviations to stakeholders.
• Identify consolidation opportunities, manage logistics cost data, and participate in performance analysis meetings.
• Support import/export teams, handle incident investigations, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics, planning or project execution experience.
• Prior experience in production facilities or EPCC projects.
• Background in project planning, import/export activities and related approvals.
• Strong understanding of international transport regulations and supplier quality management.
