About the role

The Luxury Fashion Merchandiser/Buyer will shape the buying strategy for a high‑end fashion portfolio, aligning product assortment with market trends and sales objectives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the department runs smoothly and contributes to the overall growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market data, sales history and emerging trends to develop a department strategy.
• Monitor day‑to‑day operations of the merchandising department to guarantee efficiency.
• Identify new product opportunities and trends that drive sales and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across business functions, including senior management.
• Support the evolving needs of a developing business, adapting to change and ambiguity.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or Buyer within luxury fashion retail.
• Strong background in sales analysis and budgeting.
• Experience in a start‑up or newly created department is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing environment and present insights to senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on tasks beyond the core role.
