Manager - Hotel Accounting

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Manager – Hotel Accounting to lead the finance function for its upcoming integrated resort. The role oversees daily accounting operations, ensures accurate revenue reporting, and supports the financial integrity of the hotel, food & beverage, and retail outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the hotel accounting department.
• Supervise the daily revenue audit function for hotel, F&B, and retail revenues.
• Review journal entries, adjustments, trial balances, and departmental financial reports.
• Ensure timely preparation of daily operating reports and monthly closing schedules.
• Perform and review balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain audit procedures in line with SOPs and internal controls.
• Assist the Assistant Director of Hotel Accounting and Executive Director of Income Control with ad‑hoc duties.
• Train, coach, and evaluate accounting team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry at a supervisory level.
• Proven ability to manage revenue audit processes and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, cash handling, and audit compliance.
