Manager – Private Client & Cross‑Border Wealth Tax Advisory

About the role

Water & Shark seeks a qualified accountant or tax professional to lead its Private Client & Family Office Advisory practice in the UAE. The role involves advising UHNW and HNW individuals, families and family offices on cross‑border wealth structuring, taxation and protection.

Key responsibilities

• Lead private‑client advisory and wealth structuring across jurisdictions, including trusts, foundations and family investment companies.
• Provide tax compliance services for Singapore, Hong Kong, UK and USA individuals and entities, handling returns, filings and specific US forms (PFIC, CFC, K‑1, K‑3).
• Manage and review the Advisory & Compliance team, ensuring quality delivery and client engagement from scoping to implementation.
• Drive practice growth by identifying new advisory opportunities, building relationships with families and referral partners, and representing the team at wealth forums.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA, CA or equivalent) with 3–4+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in cross‑border wealth structuring, taxation of trusts/foundations and personal/structure tax compliance in at least one of Singapore, Hong Kong, UK or USA.
• Strong client discretion, presentation confidence and ability to produce thought‑leadership content.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE if currently based in the UK or Europe.
