Material Engineer – Landscape & Swimming Pool Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Material Engineer to manage material testing, quality compliance, and approvals for landscape and swimming pool projects within our fast‑growing construction division in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify and approve material submittals for landscape works (soil, planting media, irrigation components, hardscape) and swimming‑pool works (waterproofing, finishes, tiling, mechanical/filtration).
• Coordinate sampling and laboratory testing in line with project specifications and UAE municipal/authority requirements.
• Maintain material tracking registers, test certificates and traceability records for all approved materials.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure delivered materials match approved submittals and support QA/QC in resolving non‑conformances.
• Prepare material approval submissions and technical data sheets for consultant and client review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.
• 5‑7 years experience as a Material Engineer within a UAE‑based contracting firm.
• Hands‑on, site‑based experience with materials used in landscape and swimming‑pool execution.
• Strong knowledge of UAE material testing standards, approved laboratories and municipal approval processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with material tracking and document control systems.
