Material Inspector (DCL Approved)

About the role

The Material Inspector will support infrastructure projects related to stormwater, drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater and water distribution networks. The role involves technical delivery, client service management and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review contractor material submittals for civil and piping works.
• Collect and analyse data for conceptual planning and design.
• Conduct asset condition assessments to ensure compliance with contract specifications and local authority requirements.
• Prepare material specification reports and assist with project administration, including proposals, correspondence and progress reporting.
• Identify non‑conforming materials, generate corrective action reports and coordinate responses.
• Perform technical feasibility studies, site investigations and liaise with remote teams.
• Maintain client relationships and support utility diversion management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience on infrastructure projects.
• Holder of Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) approval.
• Proven experience with ISO 9000 quality systems and ISO 9001:2018.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
