About the role
Parsons is looking for a Materials Inspector to join its team on an infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The role is full time, morning shift, and involves checking that materials, work and site conditions meet the approved standards.
Key responsibilities
- Check site conditions for suitability before construction begins.
- Observe, check and record that works are carried out according to approved methods.
- Verify that instructions are being followed and record inspections, tests and work executed.
- Check that delivered materials match the approvals and are properly stored.
- Observe site safety procedures and measure work done when required.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings and in preparing As-Built drawings.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline.
- At least 3 years of overall experience on infrastructure projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of current civil engineering technology and its application on the project.
- Experience constructing large civil, structural and/or industrial projects.
