Material & Logistics Coordinator - Infrastructure

About the role

Azizi Developments, a Dubai-based developer building residential, hospitality and commercial projects in the UAE, is expanding its project teams and seeks a Material & Logistics Coordinator for infrastructure. The role coordinates material requirements, delivery schedules, transportation and logistics so that materials arrive on time at project sites, working closely with Procurement, Project Management, Site Engineers, Storekeepers, Suppliers and Subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material delivery schedules according to project requirements, construction schedules and site priorities.
• Monitor material needs against approved MRs, submittals, BOQs, drawings and schedules.
• Follow up on ordered materials and arrange transportation of materials, equipment and resources to and from sites.
• Plan delivery access, unloading areas and material handling with site teams.
• Maintain records of receipts, deliveries, transfers, returns and dispatches, and coordinate receiving, inspection, storage and issuance with warehouse and store teams.
• Track material availability, prepare tracking, delivery, inventory and status reports, and flag shortages or delays.
• Ensure materials are supported by delivery notes, purchase orders, approvals and inspection records, and coordinate inspections with QA/QC.
• Plan transportation for infrastructure items such as pipes, fittings, manholes, drainage materials, road materials, precast items, cables and aggregates, including oversized or heavy loads.
• Assist in keeping stock levels appropriate and avoid overstocking or wastage.
• Prepare management reports on delayed deliveries, shortages and urgent needs, and support project teams in resolving material issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of total experience in material coordination and logistics, including at least 3 years in the UAE construction/infrastructure industry.
• Experience with infrastructure materials and with roads, stormwater drainage, sewerage, water supply, chilled water and utility network projects is preferred.
• Immediate joining is preferred.

Required skills

• Good understanding of MRs, BOQs, material submittals and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of inventory management, material tracking and logistics documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting.
• Good reporting, coordination and communication skills.
