Mathematics Teacher (GCSE/A Level) – Start Sep 2025

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics teacher to join Jumeirah College in Dubai, starting September 2025. The role involves delivering the National Curriculum for England at GCSE and A‑Level, inspiring a diverse international student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Prepare students for examinations, aiming for high achievement rates.
• Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and enrichment activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s holistic, global‑citizen ethos.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a B.Ed. or equivalent degree and PGCE/PGDE or similar certification.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics (and optionally Further Mathematics) at secondary level.
• Commitment to high academic standards and student development.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge of GCSE and A‑Level Mathematics.
• Effective classroom management and instructional techniques.
