About the role
NIGM LLC is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in piping and firefighting systems, based in Abu Dhabi. The engineer will handle pipe sizing, pump head calculations, equipment selection and temporary building designs.
Key responsibilities
- Pump head calculations
- Hydraulic calculations for fire-fighting systems
- Pipe sizing and equipment selection
- Design of temporary building mechanical systems
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 10-15 years of experience in permanent building design and 5+ years in temporary building design
- Thorough knowledge of piping and fire-fighting systems across diverse building types
Required skills
- BIM and Revit
- AutoCAD
- Knowledge of UAE authority submission procedures
