About the role
Ultiwise Consult is hiring a Mechanical Draftsman in Sharjah within its Engineering department, reporting to the Chief Technical Officer. The draftsman assists the Technical Manager and project team with engineering deliverables, working closely with design development teams and project engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Render 2D and 3D models for presentations
- Manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
- Work with project engineers and proposal engineers on a variety of projects
- Understand the scope of each project and visit sites for surveying
- Carry out detailed drafting, turning conceptual designs into detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings
- Draw up equipment and item lists for each project
Required profile
- Minimum 4-5 years of design experience in water and wastewater treatment systems
- Knowledge of engineering deliverables for oil and gas and water treatment packages, and detail fabrication packages
- Good communication skills
