Mechanical Helper

About the role

2coms is hiring Mechanical Helpers in Dubai to assist technicians and mechanics with mechanical installation, maintenance and repair work. Candidates need basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment. The position is offered on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist mechanical technicians and mechanics with maintenance and repair work.
• Support installation, dismantling and assembly of mechanical equipment.
• Handle and arrange tools, spare parts, materials and equipment.
• Assist with basic maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, valves and pipelines.
• Support technicians during troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain equipment under supervision.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled technicians, and follow company safety rules and site regulations.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe, and maintain tools and equipment properly.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Helper or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Experience assisting with mechanical installation, maintenance or repair work.
• Physically fit and able to handle tools and materials; willing to work in industrial or construction environments.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• An ITI or technical qualification in Mechanical is an advantage but not mandatory.
