Mechanical Lead – ISI & FAC for Nuclear Power Plant

About the role

The Mechanical Lead will direct In‑Service Inspection (ISI) and Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) activities for turbine and refuel services during outages at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. The role ensures safe, reliable plant operation while meeting ENEC outage schedules and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform FAC testing, inspections, and non‑destructive evaluation (NDE) to maintain equipment integrity.
• Execute ISI engineering tasks, develop performance monitoring plans, and review design changes for safety compliance.
• Coordinate component repairs, replacements, and procurement of spare parts to support outage and emergency response.
• Develop and oversee installation and service contracts, ensuring efficient delivery of contracted maintenance.
• Update equipment and material master data, and revise ISI/FAC procedures to keep documentation current.
• Support outage and emergency response teams, including shift work as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 6‑7 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a nuclear power plant environment.
• Preferably 9 years of experience with 4 years in a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) or APR‑1400 operational site.
