Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment and machinery at ADNOC Drilling’s facilities in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive and predictive maintenance checks on machinery according to schedules and checklists.
• Carry out corrective maintenance, including dismantling, assembling and replacing components to repair defective equipment.
• Install new equipment, modify existing systems and assist with start‑up and shutdown of critical assets.
• Participate in annual shutdowns, major turnarounds and coordinate major repairs or overhauls in the workshop.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or secondary school certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant mechanical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy‑equipment mechanical repairs within the oil/gas industry or power plants.
• Ability to work in A/C‑conditioned environments and tolerate occasional exposure to heat, humidity and dust during site visits.
