MFL (French) Teacher – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a Modern Foreign Language (French) teacher to join its growing network of schools in the United Arab Emirates, starting in August 2027. The role involves delivering engaging French lessons, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting the school’s inclusive and innovative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver French language lessons that inspire students and meet curriculum requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design engaging learning activities and resources.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker and use data to inform further planning and interventions.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student achievement and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 1–2 years teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or police clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment system.
• Experience using CPOMS for student welfare and communication.
