Microsoft 365 Engineer

About the role

The client, a diversified UAE group, is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to join its IT department in Abu Dhabi. The role is onsite and focuses on advanced support, troubleshooting and administration of the Microsoft 365 tenant.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender and Entra ID.
• Manage user and computer identities, roles and permissions in Azure AD and on‑premises AD.
• Configure and maintain security features such as MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Data Loss Prevention.
• Deploy and manage devices through Intune, including enrollment, configuration profiles and compliance policies for Windows, iOS, Android and macOS.
• Implement and support SSO, MFA, PIM and other identity solutions.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell scripts and maintain the tenant’s secure score.
• Ensure compliance using Microsoft 365 compliance tools and Purview.
• Provide tier‑2/3 support for email, access and other Office 365 issues and lead escalations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 services.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude toward solving business problems.
• Immediate availability.
