About the role
An American school in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified Middle/High School English Teacher to deliver US‑curriculum lessons and support student development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver English lessons to middle and high school students in line with the US curriculum
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports learning
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high academic standards
Required profile
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field (or PGCE/PGDE/B.Ed)
- Valid state or national teaching licence (US, UK QTS or MoE)
- Minimum 3 years full‑time teaching experience in middle or secondary school
- Available to join immediately
