About the role
W Hotels is hiring a mixologist for its banquet studios in Dubai Marina. The role is full-time and non-management, and focuses on building a memorable guest experience beyond simply mixing drinks. Bartenders are expected to stay up to date with new trends and micro-local offerings, act as hosts of the space, and take ownership of guest service across the hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the bar so that it looks and functions flawlessly
- Build relationships with colleagues across the hotel and within the community to anticipate and meet guests' needs
- Deliver high-quality drinks and accurate information to guests
- Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and present a professional uniform and appearance
- Work on your feet and move around, lifting and carrying objects of up to 25 pounds and reaching overhead and below the knees
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Passion for the guest service experience and attention to detail
