NDT Multi Technician (PCN) – Ultrasonic & Magnetic Inspection

About the role

The NDT Multi Technician will support the Operations department of Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI) in Abu Dhabi, performing a range of non‑destructive testing activities and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) on assigned components.
• Perform UT weld scanning, interpret results, evaluate against reference codes and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Document inspection results, maintain housekeeping, and ensure compliance with legal and HSEQ requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as an NDT Level 2 technician or equivalent.
• Experience in oil & gas field corrosion surveys.
• Higher secondary education and PCN Level II UT certification (3.1/3.2 mandatory, 3.8/3.9 preferred).

Required skills

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – weld scanning and interpretation.
• Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).
• Proficiency with NDT equipment and manual/computerized reporting.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
