NDT Multi Technician (PCN UT Certified)

About the role

Mazrui International is hiring an NDT Multi Technician (Non-Destructive Technician) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role reports to the Operations Coordinator and Operations Lead and supports the operations department with a defined NDT scope of work while maintaining health and safety standards within the SSI HSEQ department.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI) and liquid penetrant inspection (LPI)
• Perform UT weld scanning with interpretation, evaluation and reporting
• Interpret and review inspection results against reference codes and standards
• Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions
• Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports
• Clean parts and materials before and after inspection, and keep the immediate workplace tidy
• Comply with legal requirements to protect the organisation's stability and reputation

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of work experience as an NDT Level 2 technician or an approved equivalent
• Experience in oil and gas field corrosion surveys
• Higher secondary school education
• PCN certificate Level II UT 3.1/3.2 is mandatory; Level II UT 3.8/3.9 is preferred but not mandatory
• Good written and spoken English is mandatory
