About the role
SGS is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) on oil & gas, petrochemical and EPC projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves ensuring inspections meet client specifications, ADNOC requirements and HSE standards.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out UT and MT inspections according to PCN certifications and project procedures.
- Record, interpret and report inspection findings accurately.
- Identify defects, raise non‑conformities and support corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and assist quality‑assurance activities.
Required profile
- Valid PCN UT Level 3.1, 3.2, 3.8 and 3.9 certifications.
- Valid PCN MT certification.
- Minimum five years of post‑certification NDT inspection experience.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or EPC environments is highly preferred.
