Night Auditor

About the role

Hilton is looking for a Night Auditor. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial transactions and delivers memorable experiences for every guest. The position sits within the hotel's team and involves balancing and coding the previous day's transactions, verifying payments and maintaining financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Balance and code the previous day's transactions, preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries.
• Verify that all credit card transactions align with daily reports.
• Review night audit reports, check sales journal accuracy and analyze all adjustments.
• Perform and record a daily reconciliation of all revenue and settlement amounts across the POS, PMS and other revenue sources.
• Review all voids, discounts and entertainment / duty F&B charges.
• File and archive financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements.
• Assist team members and other departments as needed.
