Nurse Supervisor

About the role

The Nurse Supervisor will lead and support nursing staff to deliver safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care in line with NMC’s vision, mission and values. This role involves clinical guidance, staff supervision and ensuring compliance with UAE health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance, direction and support for all nurses and caregivers across the facility.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, supervise nursing personnel and conduct regular clinical rounds with the inter‑professional team.
• Perform direct patient care when required and assist in updating clinical policies and guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement, incident reporting and compliance with DOH/DHA/MOHAP standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licence recognised by the UAE regulator (MOHAP/NMC).
• Demonstrated experience in supervising pre‑registration, new and experienced nurses.
• Commitment to NMC’s safety, ethics and collaboration values and ability to act as a role model.

Required skills

• Clinical supervision and mentorship of nursing staff.
• Knowledge of NMC Nurse Competency Matrix, infection prevention and control protocols.
• Ability to manage patient safety incidents and use early warning systems.
