Nursery Manager

About the role

A vibrant British nursery in Dubai’s JLT area is seeking an experienced native‑English speaking female manager to lead its Early Years provision. The role involves overseeing daily operations, curriculum delivery and business development to maintain the centre’s excellent reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop an effective team of educators and support staff.
• Handle daily administrative duties, including record‑keeping and reporting.
• Implement the EYFS curriculum, plan activities and promote play‑based learning.
• Drive marketing and admissions efforts through open days, tours and parent forums.
• Manage time efficiently and work independently.
• Maintain enrolment numbers while addressing improvement needs.
• Ensure policies and procedures are up‑to‑date and complied with.
• Build key relationships and network within the education sector.
• Stay confident in teaching techniques and curriculum developments.
• Organise school timetables, events, meetings, recruitment and resourcing.
• Supervise, support, train and evaluate staff performance.
• Provide high‑standard customer service to parents and stakeholders.
• Manage the nursery budget to ensure profitability.
• Create a caring, stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Excellent time‑management, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Sensitivity, positivity and non‑judgemental approach when working with young children and families.
• Business acumen and experience in budget management.
• Warm, caring, friendly and approachable personality.
