Operations Manager – Fujairah Terminal

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead all activities at the Fujairah Terminal, driving productivity, safety and regulatory compliance while managing resources and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee terminal operations, optimise processes and develop initiatives to maintain smooth cargo handling.
• Monitor productivity, resolve shift‑time issues and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and shipping regulations.
• Manage availability and condition of terminal equipment such as ITV, forklifts, reach stackers, RTG and Bobcat, directing maintenance as needed.
• Prepare and deliver operational reports covering productivity, cost, safety and security metrics.
• Represent the terminal CEO in meetings, build stakeholder relationships and drive cost‑saving strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime & Ports, Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 12‑15 years of experience in seaport operations management, preferably in container or multipurpose terminals.
• Proven leadership in multicultural environments and strong communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of terminal equipment: ITV, forklifts, reach stackers, RTG, Bobcat.
• Vessel and yard planning expertise.
• Budgeting, finance‑related matters and cost‑control capabilities.
