Operations Manager – Warehouse

About the role

Lead warehouse operations in a high‑volume distribution centre for Ingram Micro in the UAE, ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy and top‑notch service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end warehouse processes including receiving, put‑away, storage, picking, packing and order fulfillment.
• Drive inventory accuracy through stock management, cycle counting, KPI monitoring and compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and associates, fostering safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Optimize productivity via labour planning, space utilisation, workflow improvements and Lean initiatives.
• Utilise WMS, ERP and reporting tools to enhance visibility and support data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Approximately 8 years of experience leading warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in a multinational or regional distribution environment.
• Proven track record managing large, diverse teams through growth and change.
• Experience managing 3PL relationships, inventory governance and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field; MBA, CSCP or similar certification is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience using ERP platforms.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement methodologies.
