Oracle EBS OAF Specialist

About the role

SANAD is looking for an experienced Oracle EBS OAF Specialist to develop, customize, maintain and support Oracle E-Business Suite applications using Oracle Application Framework (OAF). The role works closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to turn approved requirements into scalable, reliable technical solutions, while keeping application performance, system stability, data integrity and compliance with Oracle development standards and IT governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, test and maintain OAF pages, JSP components, controllers, view objects and user interface extensions, and RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows)
• Apply Oracle EBS architecture standards, coding practices, version control and IT governance controls, and take part in code reviews
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, design OAF applications and enhancements, and prepare technical design documentation
• Support OAF, JSP, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, XML and web services issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors
• Tune performance of OAF components, SQL queries and PL/SQL programs, support upgrades, patches and migrations, and run post-implementation validation
• Maintain technical documentation, test scripts, deployment instructions and user guides, and support integration testing and UAT

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field; Oracle EBS certification is an advantage
• 5-7 years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development and application support
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
• Experience developing and supporting RICEW components
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, AP, AR, GL and Projects; CMRO knowledge and aviation/MRO industry experience are an advantage
