Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to lead the configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules. The role involves translating business requirements into effective Oracle Cloud configurations while collaborating with technical teams, auditors, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with finance stakeholders to capture current processes and pain points.
• Configure and set up Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses).
• Design the Chart of Accounts, ledgers, legal entities, and business units to meet reporting requirements.
• Define and configure sub‑ledger accounting (SLA) rules, approval workflows (BPM), and month/quarter/year‑end close processes.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks (BR100), and test scripts for SIT/UAT.
• Collaborate with technical teams on reports (BIP/OTBI), data conversions (FBDI), and integrations.
• Support statutory and tax reporting, multi‑currency, multi‑ledger, and localization configurations.
• Conduct CRP sessions, functional testing, UAT support, and troubleshoot functional issues.
• Provide functional guidance on Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) and Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) integration points.
• Assist security setup for finance roles and assess impact of Oracle quarterly updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Deep functional expertise across core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses).
• Proven ability to lead workshops, produce design documentation, and support testing phases.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, multi‑currency, and localization requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to work with business users, auditors, and technical teams.
