Order Taker – In‑Room Dining

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and service‑oriented Order Taker for In‑Room Dining at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. You will receive and process guest orders accurately while providing warm, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer In‑Room Dining telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Take guest food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions, and operating hours.
• Identify and communicate dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to the Kitchen.
• Promote menu items and apply upselling techniques.
• Coordinate with Kitchen and service team to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and escalations as needed.
• Process guest bills and maintain accurate order records.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, In‑Room Dining, or similar hospitality role (preferred).
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with a friendly, professional approach.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to process orders accurately.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
