Outlet Manager

About the role

Kempinski is looking for an Outlet Manager in Dubai to deliver an outstanding guest experience within the outlet concept. The manager leads a service team in cooperation with the culinary team, providing courteous, professional and efficient service in line with outlet, hotel and Kempinski standards while driving sales and maximising profit. The position is permanent and full time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the outlet team (Assistant Manager, supervisors, waiters, hosts, cashier) and lead it efficiently in cost, quality and revenue.
• Ensure the outlet follows the concept, set up and service standards, and keep the workplace clean and organised.
• Take part in menu design with the Head Chef and Chef Sommelier, organise tastings and know the local restaurant scene.
• Drive upselling, use the POS system and produce monthly outlet reports and analysis.
• Lead the outlet in cost control, assist in preparing the budget and conduct monthly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Manage a flexible schedule of full and part-time staff, control payroll and minimise spoilage and wastage.
• Hold pre-shift briefings, manage daily or weekly kitchen meetings, and act as Food & Beverage Duty Manager when absent.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints, attend trainings and meetings, and prepare annual updates to the operations manual.

Required profile

• BA/BSc in Hospitality Management or a related field, preferably from a hotel school or MBA.
• Minimum 2 years in an F&B management role, preferably with a 5-star hotel chain.
• Excellent spoken and written Arabic and English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, handle pressure and build effective relationships with staff, clients and vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of the outlet concept, menu and products, and ability to operate the POS system.
