Overseas Operations Manager - P2P

About the role

OKX, a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet, is looking for an experienced Overseas Operations Manager (P2P) to drive growth and operational excellence across key overseas markets. The role requires a deep understanding of P2P market mechanics, merchant ecosystems, regional payment infrastructure and competitive positioning, and calls for hands-on experience running P2P markets at major exchanges such as Binance, Bybit and Bitget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional P2P expansion strategies, monitor regulatory developments and adjust strategy to competition and market shifts
• Design and optimise merchant onboarding, segmentation and incentive structures, and work closely with key merchants to maintain liquidity depth and spread competitiveness
• Improve completion rates, trading efficiency and dispute resolution, and build structured frameworks for regional merchant operations
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve P2P workflows and features, and give structured feedback on product gaps and regional user behaviour
• Monitor core P2P KPIs (volume, active users, merchant depth, spreads, completion and dispute rates), run anomaly detection and track competitor strategies

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform operations; crypto/Web3 experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets outside Mainland China
• Experience at major exchanges
• Fluent English; Chinese or other regional languages are a plus
• Preferred: experience managing regional teams, community contributors or local operators, and knowledge of overseas P2P fraud patterns and payment risks
